Since 2005, Salon Fusion has built its reputation on the fundamental principle of helping clients achieve the optimum hairstyle that best fits their lifestyle. This is a vision Giuseppe and Dmitry had since they first opened their doors and they continue to keep this philosophy at the forefront of their relationship with each client.
The stylists at Salon Fusion strive to put their client’s needs and desires first by providing individualized consultation, incorporating the latest trends and helping them replicate the new look at home. We pride ourselves in seeking advanced training and education from the most renowned industry leaders. We strive to fuse the newest and most advanced techniques with the latest styles on the fashion runway. Continuing education is not just suggested with our stylists, it is a requirement that must be fulfilled with regularity.

Giuseppe
Stylist
With 21 years of experience in the hair industry, Giuseppe started his passion for styling hair at the age of 18 at a salon located in downtown Chicago. He later moved to the North Shore where he has been working for over 16 years. For over 10 of those years he worked at Mario Tricoci Hair Salon and Day Spa in Old Orchard as their Creative Director. He has trained in LA, New York, Miami, Canada, London, and Italy at various institutions such as Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, Rusk, Bumble and Bumble, Redken, and with Nick Arrojo, from “What Not To Wear”. In addition, Giuseppe is a certified Bumble and Bumble Network Educator, a certified Great Lengths Hair Extension Specialist, a certified Brazilian Keratin Treatment Specialist, and is certified with Mizani Relaxers. He also specializes in Thermal Straightening and So Cap Extensions.
Giuseppe has participated in several makeover shows on television, such as Jenny Jones and the Oprah Winfrey Show. His work has been published in North Shore Magazine, In-Style Magazine and the Chicago Tribune. He has also been featured in Chicago Health and Beauty on their “Make Over of the Month.” He is currently the only stylist in Wilmette that is featured on NaturallyCurly.com. With his passion growing in the industry, Giuseppe continues to work onstage at fashion shows, and with models in front of the cameras; utilizing the latest techniques and show casing the latest trends. In his last photo shoot, he took 1st place in the “Rising Star Hair and Photo Competition.” If it’s one thing Giuseppe is known for, it’s making sure that the style works for you, and that you can work with your style.

Dmitriy
Stylist
Dmitriy has built his reputation on the belief: “do not mass produce the haircuts but tailor the cut to an individual’s look and for their unique features.” Dmitriy started his career with Mario Tricoci Hair Salon and Day Spa in 1995. During his 10-year tenure with Mario Tricoci, he has participated in extensive training in cutting and styling hair. He has also dedicated 7 years in educating new stylists.
Dmitriy attended international educational seminars, as well as hands-on cutting courses with Vidal Sassoon in Toronto, Canada, and London, England. While in London, he attended London’s Fashion Week. He has participated in numerous TV makeover shows, such as Jenny Jones. Dmitriy was involved in various hair competitions and took 1st place in the 2003 “Rising Star Hair and Photo Competition”. In 2007 Dmitriy attended a hands-on class in New York, on Advanced Razor Cutting with Nick Arrojo of “What Not To Wear”. In January 2010, he attended The Summit Course, sponsored by Redken. Dmitriy continues training with Bumble and Bumble and his most recent class on Razor Cutting was in New York in April 2010. Dmitriy also specializes in human hair extensions by Great Lengths and Keratin Hair Treatments.
In the last 6 and a half years, Salon Fusion has grown and Dmitriy continues to educate new members of the Salon Fusion team, as he believes continuing education is key to success.

Olga
Stylist
From a young age, Olga always had a passion for styling hair and knew she wanted to be in the beauty industry. At the age of 23, she enrolled at the Tricoci School of Hair Design to follow her dream in becoming a talented hairstylist.
With 11 years experience, Olga believes that building a relationship by consulting with her clients is the foundation to creating the perfect style for her clients. She also strives to create an environment in which her clients are at ease to express themselves and their ideas.
Olga places a great importance on education. She continues to master the latest hairstyling trends by taking advanced hands on cutting courses with J Beverly Hills, Vidal Sassoon and Framesi.

Lola
Color Specialist
Lola’s passion for fashion and beauty started at a young age. She has been a color expert for the past 10 years, and has been with Salon Fusion for over 6 of those years. She attended Pivot Point Beauty School where she was educated in everything from hair styling, to perms and relaxers; however, she always had a special talent for color. Lola underwent extensive training at Mario Tricoci Salon and Day Spa under the top color director.
She has worked with many of the top color lines, including Redken, Goldwell, Wella, Jayld, Schwartzkoff, Logics and Midway Couture. She has completed numerous Wella, Goldwell, Aveda, Redken, Kerastase and Bumble and Bumble classes to further her knowledge. Lola has attended a Goldwell 2 day hands on color correction class in the Chicago, as well as a Wella creative color technique class at the Wella Institute in California. This extensive 2-day hands on class involved training in new foiling techniques as well as the new color trends, to ensure her clients are up to date with the latest and greatest in hair color.
Lola has also attended the Redken Symposium in Las Vegas, a three-day color conference. There she also learned easy color techniques with an edge, color correction, as well as fine-tuning consultations and fresh techniques that activate her creativity. Lola participated in the “Rising Star Hair and Photo Competition” where she received 1st place, and looks forward to bringing her knowledge, enthusiasm and creativity to you.

Janice
Color Specialist
Janice has been in the hair industry for over 13 years, which over 5 of those years have been with Salon Fusion. She began her career in the Northwest Suburbs as a color expert. Later she moved onto Michael Anthony Salon and Spa an Aveda concept salon, in Lincoln Park. She has undergone advanced training in New York, Minneapolis, Las Vegas and Chicago at various institutions, such as Aveda and Redken.
Janice has participated in fashion shows, as well as worked behind the scenes on several photo shoots. She has extensive training with many color lines, which include Goldwell, Wella, Redken and Aveda. Recently Janice has been promoted as the Color Director at Salon Fusion, where she will help grow the department and new associates. She believes in sharing her knowledge with individuals that are passionate in the hair industry.

Chantal
Color Specialist
After growing up in the hair industry for most of her life, Chanty knew what her future had in store for her. Chanty’s parents managed beauty schools, which helped jump-start her career. She began attending Pivot Point school. By age 18, she started working downtown at the Elizabeth Arden Salon, and by decided to specialize in hair color, she started on this path and began to work for Mario Tricoci Hair Salon and Day Spa. She spent 14 years with the company and was able to share her knowledge and expertise with the company’s future stylists by being an educator. She has been featured on stage for several Wella shows, and has done training at the Wella Santa Monica studio. She has participated in numerous fashion and makeover shows, such as Jenny Jones and Oprah Winfrey Show. She believes she can help a person look their best and makeovers are one of her specialties.

Francesca
Color Specialist
As an art major in college, Francesca decided to take her creativity and passion for art into the beauty industry. She attended a Pivot Point member school and went on to specialize in color at Mario Tricoci. At Mario’s, she went through an extensive color training program with the Wella color line. She has also works with color lines such as Redken, Goldwell, and Pravana. Her training included classes to specialize in corrective colors, creative colors, highlights, single process colors, bleach and tones, painting techniques, and chemical relaxers. While working at Tricoci, she also attended product knowledge classes for Pureology, Mizani, and Rene Furterer. She will soon be training to specialze in hair extensions and keratin treatments. Francesca has been in the beauty industry for six years now and she continues to utilize her knowledge, dedication and creativity to satisfy her client needs. Her favorite part about her job is making her clients feel and look great!

Emira
Associate
Emira graduated from Pivot Point International Academy and is now training at Salon Fusion to become a colorist. Emira looks forward to mastering the techniques of formulating and applying color, along with highlighting and low-lighting techniques. Emira is also training in hair care product lines such as: Bumble and Bumble, Kerastase and Goldwell. Emira is very excited to start her career with Salon Fusion and is eager to receive advanced training within the salon color department.

Monika
Associate
Monika graduated with honors from Pivot Point International Academy and is now continuing her advanced training at Salon Fusion. She feels very fortunate to be working at a salon where eduaction is their main priority. She has attended many product knowledge classes and plans on using this education on future clients.
Monika looks forward to a career that is both satisfying and rewarding, and can’t wait to build relationships that will last a lifetime.
